Deciding on a Puppy

Choosing a puppy is often a hard decision. When interested in a puppy you may request more photos and videos as well as schedule a visit to see the puppies in person. If you are wanting to schedule a visit to decide on a puppy we kindly ask that you do not bring any other dogs with  you as we do not want to introduce any outside diseases or illnesses onto the premises.

Choosing a Puppy

Once you have decided on a puppy that is right for you, we do require a $300 deposit to secure the puppy and the remaining balance would be due at the time of pick up.

Before Picking Up Your Puppy

In most cases puppies are chosen before they are old enough to go to their forever homes. Until they are ready to be taken home we do provide weekly photo updates of your puppy. During this time it is also good to prepare for the puppy by purchasing the dog food of your choice. They are currently on Hill Science Diet Chicken and Oat Large Breed Puppy food and we will send home a small bag if you are wanting to switch brands to ensure a smooth transition. It is also good to have toys and puppy pads on hand since they are still so young.

Picking Up Your Puppy

The time has finally come your puppy is ready to go home! When picking up your puppy we will provide you with the following; shot records, registration papers, pedigree, sample of food, and of course your puppy! Depending on how far of a drive you have it is recommended to bring water, and a blanket or crate to make the car ride comfortable for your new family member.

SHIPPING

We are able to ship puppies out of state by airplane if the drive is too far, however the buyer will have to cover the cost of shipping. 

​

All Blue Dot Aussie puppies are microchipped before going to their forever home at no additional charge.
